Zlatni Bor Hotel

We've taken our three kids to the Durmitor area three times now, and Zlatni Bor is always a stop for us. The staff are kind and welcoming, and it's very family-friendly. The waitress has that old-school skill of remembering a whole order without writing it down, which you don't see much these days. We always enjoy our visits. The food is excellent, whether you go for traditional dishes or one of the meat specialties, both are fantastic. It's a real nice mountain hotel and restaurant, and the rooms are clean. We recommended Zlatni Bor to friends from Canada, and they were impressed too. They spent seven days in the area and ate here every day. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

A roomy bedroom and good food in a warm, welcoming hotel with lots of character. There's dark wood throughout, and weapons on the restaurant walls.

After a long hike in the national park, my partner and I stopped here for food. The portions were good, and the dishes gave us a delicious introduction to the regional food. The gentleman who served us was very pleasant.

The room had a lovely view of the mountains, but the rest of the stay was frustrating. We were told checkout was at 11am, yet cleaning staff knocked and tried to unlock our door shortly after 9am. We also asked for extra bedding and were given wet bedding.
