The private pool and almost empty beach made the stay feel so peaceful. My wife and I visited in late April 2018, and the house was really comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful, and getting to the beach or around the island was easy. Club Orient was still a mess, though you could rent chairs and umbrellas, and there was a nice crowd. The area was waiting to be rebuilt, with plenty still to do, but there was lots to see too. We can't wait to return. Many thanks to our hosts.

I couldn't imagine a more relaxing vacation. The heated pool was great, and Ingrid, the manager, was there to help with anything. The villa has the style of the original homes, and the YouTube videos give a better sense of it than I can describe. It's close to the airport, where you can watch the landing videos, and one of Trump's houses is just around the corner. The beach gets little traffic because access is difficult for non-owners and their guests. Security won't bother you; it was determined to be too expensive to bring it up to security standards. in m

The location was stunning, and the house felt perfect for us. My wife, our two kids, and I stayed for 10 days, and it was the best vacation our family has ever had.

Among the beaches on the Dutch side of St Maarten, this is one of the best. The sand is soft, and the waves are big and beautiful.

Most of the reviews seem to be about the beach rather than the house. We doubt Mark Scott ever stayed at Baie Longue Beach House.
