La Samana Beach Bar is a peaceful little escape with clear water, gorgeous surroundings, and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The staff were kind and pleasant, too. The Passion Fruit Mango Daiquiri was the best cocktail I've ever had, fresh and perfectly balanced, and the calamari were tender, light, and delicious. It's such a beautiful spot that every photo looks like a postcard. I still think of it as one of the island's most relaxing places, and the experience stayed with me long after I left.

We chose La Samana for our wedding in 2024, and it was the best decision we could have made. The venue is gorgeous, a true paradise, and we've since come back as guests. The service is still unmatched. Our three-day weekend was at one of the villas on the property. The French-side resort felt private and secluded, and the staff managed every logistical detail. Everyone was so on top of things that I never had a moment of worry. The planning team, Xoang, Apolline, and Sam, were a joy to work with from start to finish. Xoang listened to my vision, stayed patient, and worked thoughtfully within our budget. She and the team stayed with us from my first email through a visit years later. They recommended wonderful local vendors and fully supported us when we brought our own photographer and makeup artist. 10/10 recommend!

The food was amazing, and everyone at the resort was so nice. Our spacious villa had a private pool and a beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed tennis and working out, and trainer Ronan was passionate about fitness and very helpful with my workout. I look forward to going back next year.

The view across the sea and beach is spectacular, one of the best on the island. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and I had a great lunch today. Ask about the rum tasting room and cellar, it's a truly unique experience. I highly recommend the property. A must visit!
