We were given a different room at the last minute from the one promised, and it was smaller with no view. It felt like a bait and switch. There were even roaches, and the hostess was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional in DMs. Avoid this place at all costs.

I rented a studio here for six months in 2018. It was very clean, professionally managed, and, most importantly, safe. I highly recommend it. Given the rates, I’d give it 5 stars.

I’ve never been treated this terribly anywhere. We didn’t get the room promised on booking.com, and then the hostess cancelled our stay behind our backs and acted as if she knew nothing about it. There was manipulation, pressure afterward to raise the price, and threatening behavior. I don’t recommend it. Orient Beach is about a kilometer’s walk away, and the rooms are nice.

There’s a lot of good energy everywhere, and I enjoyed the workshops and yoga held in beautiful spots around the island. The residence was very clean and near a mangrove full of wildlife, including iguanas and birds. It’s not far from a beach.
