For an affordable stay, this family-run place was a lot cleaner than many places that look nicer. The air-conditioned room was spotless, and although it’s on the main street, there was no traffic noise at night. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center.

Having a market downstairs is handy, and the main promenade is only around 500 m away. The room had a bathroom, air conditioning and TV, with a refrigerator out in the hallway. It’s right on the main boulevard. A small stove in each room would help, since you have to go downstairs and outside even to make coffee.

Traffic kept us awake until around 3 am. The bathroom was tiny, there was no air conditioning or elevator, and they didn’t provide water glasses or change the towels.

Ohrid Lake is 500 m away, and the place is centrally located and affordable. The rooms are clean and equipped well enough for families or solo guests, and the owners are helpful. I’d comfortably recommend staying here if you want to see Ohrid.

The rooms and furniture looked decent, but the shower leaked all over the bathroom and the owner didn’t respond when I reported it. They also left the trash in the rooms, supplied no toilet paper, and didn’t replace the towels.
