Hotel Village

We had to stay here as part of a tour. The hotel is within walking distance of the center, with markets nearby, but cleanliness and care were a real problem. The room furniture was old, the curtains were torn and broken, and the sheets had been put on carelessly. The room wasn’t cleaned, and the pillows were dirty. When I asked for another pillow, they said there weren’t any. I ended up sleeping with three or four pillowcases on the pillow. They moved us to another room on the second day, which was better, but the hotel still felt poorly cared for and unclean.

There’s private parking in front of Hotel Village, and it’s located at the entrance to Ohrid, not very far from the lake. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was served from a menu and was pretty decent. I recommend it!

A good budget place, close to the main bus station. The lakeside and town center are about a 20-minute walk away.

I appreciated the room design, the mountain views, and how quiet it was. I asked for a quiet room and the staff gave me one. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. The hotel is outside the city center, but only a 10-minute walk away, and a DM shop is in the next building. Breakfast was tasty, though the menu was limited.
