Hotel Pela

We got an early check-in without any hassle, and the view was amazing. The rooms were clean, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. The hotel has a bit of a 90s feel, but the staff are incredibly nice, organized, and almost unreal in how polite they are. A great spot in a perfect location. I’d recommend it to Macedonians and visitors from abroad, and it’s one of the few places I’d honestly rate a 10 if I could.

The food was excellent, with lots of tasty choices during my stay, and the staff were pleasant and attentive, always happy to help. Hotel Pela is also in a great spot for exploring Ohrid, just a short walk from the lake. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

It’s a quiet place with lovely views, close to the beach, restaurants, and some hiking trails that start right by the hotel. The rooms were clean, and most have a balcony with a table and chairs. The restaurant is simple, but the food and coffee are decent, and it’s nice to sit out on the terrace. It hasn’t had a new renovation, but it’s a good base for enjoying Ohrid lake and nature.

The wifi is good and the rooms and bathroom were clean, but there wasn’t much else to get excited about. The balcony divider is too small to do its job, and the door is hard to open. Food was average at best, including a carbonara made with cream and mushrooms. The restaurant looks nice, though most of the hotel seems to have last been invested in or renovated back in the Yugoslav era.
