I visited in winter 2022. The rooms were quite cold, though the bedding kept me very warm, and the location is central. The woman in charge was lovely and extremely helpful. Whenever we had a question, she knew the answer and went out of her way for all her guests. I’d return in warmer weather.

Last time I stayed here, my bed was fine, so I’d give the hostel another try. This time, though, it smelled like an old drunk guy’s bed, wasn’t clean, and had mosquitoes in it. The owner is super nice and gave really helpful advice, and I like the atmosphere, especially the terrace. I’ve stayed before and like the hostel overall.

We spent two days here with a friend and had a great time. It’s a perfect backpacker spot, with a lake view, a relaxed garden, somewhere to dry clothes, and an equipped kitchen. I’d definitely come back.

There’s lots of room in the great rooms, plus a good kitchen and a big terrace overlooking the lake. The host was very nice and helpful too. A really good hostel.
