Villa Ohrid Anastasia

I had the room to myself that night since it was off-season. The hostel was lovely, and both the rooms and bathrooms were clean. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station and lake. There's a nice balcony, and each bed has its own lamp, power socket and locker.

The room was clean and had what I needed to cook a decent meal. The owners were pleasant, though they insisted on cash after saying card payment was possible. It's a fair deal for what's offered, with lots of stores nearby despite being outside the center. The hotel sits on a side street, which was convenient for safer parking. It was scorching even in the evening, and with no AC or mosquito nets on the windows, opening a window or door meant a horde of insects came in. Still, it's a decent option for a short stay.

The hosts were very friendly and always available, and the newer villa was clean and well kept. Prices are very affordable. It's about 20 minutes from the center, beside the beautiful church St. Georgia.

The owners were so sweet and made me feel at home in ohrid. Everything was kept very clean, and I found the location convenient: 8 minutes to the center, 10 seconds to 2super markets and a 5-minute walk to the ohrid lake. I can't wait to come back and stay there again!
