Villa Old Town

The reception staff were awesome, especially the man who kept kindly trying to help us. The hotel is right in the middle of Ohrid and has a comfy bed, fridge, AC, and a solid shower room with a detachable shower head. I'd say it's one of the best places to stay here. Consider booking it if you're interested, it made our whole Ohrid trip a solid and beautiful experience.

It's easy to walk from here to everything we wanted to see in Ohrid, and we felt very safe. The location is perfect, and sitting outside with a coffee in the morning, looking at the nice view, was lovely. The host was exceptionally helpful with parking, including retrieving our car when we checked out. He gave detailed tips on where to eat and shared the area's history, along with some history of the house itself. Our room had several frustrating problems: wifi barely worked, the bathroom smelled awful, presumably from old plumbing, and the shower head was broken. The kettle was broken too, so we had to hold the button down to heat water. Fixing the wifi, kettle, and shower head should be relatively easy and would make stays more comfortable for future guests.

I felt comfortable here, and I liked the room. It's quiet, close to the lake and shops, and the owner is kind and helpful. I booked directly with the hotel after I arrived, for 20 euros a night. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay. The view is amazing, and while it's a bit of a climb up a small hill, the shops and lake are nearby. The owners were wonderful and looked after all our needs. It was a great stay.
