Hotel Bellevue - Nature & Resort

The food was terrible, with very few choices and everything absolutely freezing cold. Staff were friendly but couldn’t speak English, which made things difficult. The Wi-Fi signal was poor, the lift very slow, and carpets were dirty in hidden spots. There were plenty of lights, but the electrics were shoddy and there were no sockets to charge a phone. The air conditioning and heating were broken, and there was no duvet. We’re a family, yet were given rooms on different floors. Very poor quality hotel.

We moved to another hotel after just one day. The place is close to the airport, but otherwise it was awful. The taxi driver was incredulous that we were staying there and called it “a dump.” There was no heating, and the covers were sheets rather than blankets, which was not okay in an 11 degree room. The toilets kept running, and the heating system made noise without working. There was mold on the room walls and garbage on the balcony. The restaurant didn’t serve breakfast because we were the only two people in the hotel, even though we’d paid for it. Stay away.

My friends and I are from Skopje and spent a nice Saturday afternoon on the restaurant’s open terrace. It’s a pleasant location with lots of green outdoor space for kids to play, and the staff were pleasant too. The cooked food was the one letdown. The fries and burgers in particular were poor quality, which was a real pity since everything else was great.

The garden has lots of space and looks nice, but it wasn’t clean and there were plenty of mosquitoes. In my opinion, the rooms need investment soon: the furniture is old, and the air conditioning is loud with no way to adjust the temperature. Reception was normal and okay. What really surprised me, though, was the restaurant service. They brought me something completely different from what I ordered, then tried to convince me I was wrong. That’s not something you run into every day. The restaurant toilets smelled awful and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in four weeks. It feels like the place urgently needs professionals.
