Beograd Hotel

I won't come back to this hotel, though I used to visit every year for its beauty, location, and the nice, kind people. This time I'm so disappointed. I booked a room in February and was given one so small it had only a bed in it. After I complained at reception, they moved me to a better room, but every night there was noise and music until 3 or 4 in the morning. There's a kitchen under my room, and they usually forget the aspirations, which makes so much noise you just can't sleep. Never coming here again.

The waiters were the only staff who tried to help, but the place was very loud even at night. Staff smoke in the halls, and the cigarette smell is everywhere in the hotel. You can't get away from it or eat somewhere without the smell. There was no soap in the room, and the cleaning service doesn't seem to care about the amenities at all. At first it looked like a ghost house, and there was nobody to check us in.

The town outlook is very good, the place was clean and had no smells, and the staff were polite. The food was good too. But this is a moderate hotel with small construction issues: a plug coming out of the wall, a leaking bathtub, weak Wi-Fi, and poor sound insulation.

The location is great, close to Ohrid lake side, and a related river runs right in front of the hotel. The rest needs work: the room and shower, the small beds, the tiny bathroom, and the AC that didn't work efficiently. This facility needs improvement.
