The portions are enormous, so be careful not to order too much. The salads could feed 3-4 people, and the large meat platter was enough for all seven of us, with leftovers to take home. We loved the atmosphere and the service was very good. The mountain scenery was lovely even on the day we visited in heavy rain. It's a hidden gem close to Bulgaria, so if you're nearby, I'd recommend going, as we did. You can pay in Bulgarian leva or euros as well as the national currency. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

The salads were the best part. We had Greek and Shopska, both great, and each portion was enough for two. The mains were more mixed. The carrots alongside them had a little char and tasted good, but the broccoli was cold and wet. Our two sharska pleskavicas were small, while the grilled pork ribs tasted good. The signature pleskavica came topped with canned mushrooms, so I wouldn't recommend it. Their homemade sausage was quite smoky but delicious. The oven baked potatoes and homemade bread with kajmak both arrived cold, which surprised me, especially since they say they bake the bread themselves.

The portions are LARGE, so bear that in mind when ordering. We got a table without a reservation, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere, with music that wasn't too loud. We'd definitely visit again.

The price was very low for the quality of the food. I had trout and really enjoyed it, and the salad was especially fresh and served in a very generous quantity. My guide said the vegetables are bought directly from farmers. My wife had a burger without bread, though it wasn't to her taste. We visited in mid October 2024, when there were few people around and it felt very tranquil. The restaurant sits in a beautiful spot in the mountains of North Macedonia.
