Radisson Collection Hotel Bamako

The rooms are nice, and the hotel feels very secure. Breakfast was okay, but I didn’t care for the lunch or dinner food, and guests aren’t allowed to bring food inside. They also wouldn’t give me the complimentary lobby drinks, saying they were only for newcomers. In Bamako’s heat, I wanted something cold as soon as I got back, but they refused even though I had a room there.

The beds are incredibly soft, so comfortable it’s hard to wake up. I love the rooms and showers, and the breakfast is good. Service is excellent, but the menu prices are very high. I wish the hotel had other food choices too, maybe a small bakery or convenience store.

The rooms and hotel are nicely updated and very well maintained, and the soft beds are comfortable. The food is a real letdown, though. Across the restaurants and room service it’s subpar, extremely overpriced, with limited choices and very few dishes done well. Even most of the Club Lounge nibbles were inedible. Since outside food isn’t allowed, you’re stuck eating what they serve. I’ve stayed at Radisson hotels around the world, and this one had the worst food. I hope they improve the cuisine someday.

My room was modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a comfortable mix of luxury and practicality. I felt secure throughout the stay, and the staff went out of their way to make things comfortable. The food was outstanding too, with fresh fruit and plenty of delicious choices. I recently had an exceptional stay at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Bamako, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
