The staff were very nice and helpful, but the bathroom smell was awful in every room. We switched rooms during the stay and the smell was just as bad. The location isn't convenient either. It looks close to the old town walls, but the entrance is on the other side. I think you can find very nice, helpful staff anywhere in Myanmar :)

The staff are polite and friendly, though they could use some training. The hotel is cheap and basic, but cleanliness was an issue. Our toilet was dirty when we arrived and hadn't been fixed, and there was dirt around that needed daily cleaning. The staircase was being used for temporary storage.

The service and breakfast were good. But when we went out during the day, staff came in to clean without telling us at check-in that they would do this. I lost my valuable phone on the trip, and I can't say whether I lost it at the hotel or somewhere else I visited.

The staff were attentive and breakfast was good, but the toilet smell was horrible. The rooms need renovation, with old furniture and stains on the walls and floors. Water pressure was poor too. It's in the center, though still quite far from attractions, especially the palace, since its entrance is on the opposite side.

The location works well, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, and it was good value for the money. The rooms are very basic and small, though, and the showers take a while to heat up and have low pressure.
