Popa Garden Resort

The view was a big part of the appeal: the hotel sits at the foot of mt popa, and I could see the whole mountain from anywhere on the property. The rooms were spacious, the crew and manager were great, and the service was friendly. We spent two days at Popa Garden Resort after visiting Mt.Popa with friends. We signed up for the trekking activity the hotel offered, and they drove us to it in an old rebuilt Chevy, which was pretty cool. The food was amazing, especially the experimental dishes. If they still make the Thai basil spaghetti, ask for it. That sh*t smacks. It was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, a mix of Thai and Italian. There wasn’t a breakfast buffet that day, but they surprised us with daung lan breakfast instead, and it was even better. The portions were big. I’ve eaten at restaurants in plenty of countries, and this food ranks in my top 10. On the second day I just relaxed by the pool and got snacks at the pool bar, enjoying the view. This stay was the highlight of my vacation. I’m really glad I made the trip with my friends, and I went home feeling rested and relaxed.

We were there on a business trip for three nights. The Deluxe Garden, Deluxe Garden with balcony and Deluxe Mountain View rooms were spacious and clean. I enjoyed working while looking out at the scenery of Popa Mountain Club. It’s a really peaceful, relaxing place, with friendly staff and good food and service.

From our balcony, we had a clear, picturesque view of Mt.Popa, and the lush greenery all around made our day. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and spacious. The welcome was warm and hospitable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The food was superb and high quality, especially the authentic local dishes and curries. This place, tucked at the foot of Popa Mountain, is truly a gem. We had an outstanding stay and would definitely come again.

Our room and sitting terrace looked across the naturally landscaped resort, with the pool below and Popa Mountain in the distance. The accommodation was spacious, and the reception supervisor Zwe Pwint Phyu accompanied us by cart to our unit. We were warmly and attentively welcomed when my wife and I arrived for our two-night stay. There weren’t many guests, so the restaurant menu had limited choices, but the food was nice. The staff serving us were kind and attentive. The resident manager, Mr. Thu Ya Aung, came by, introduced himself, and did his best to take care of our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful stay. The resort is a good choice for anyone looking for peaceful accommodation and attentive service.
