I was hoping for a better stay after reading so many good reviews. The building has beautiful heritage-style charm, a great view, and a great location. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of different foods to choose from. But some staff could be friendlier and more accommodating, especially for a 5-star hotel. The room didn't feel welcoming and was underwhelming: there were no slippers or hand towels, a slight mouldy smell, a leaking fridge, and a broken hair dryer. I had to call housekeeping several times to get things addressed. I hope they improve the room maintenance and customer service.

During my first visit I was here for just three nights, and the problems didn't stand out much. This time I stayed two weeks. The room was spacious and had a great view, but there was so much dust that I had allergies every day. Service was consistently slow, taking at least 30 minutes and sometimes as long as an hour. I even spotted a small cockroach on the steamer while having breakfast one day. I hope they improve the hygiene. The Wi-Fi was terrible this time, almost unusable, so I started going to bed very early to get better sleep.

The hotel was central for shops and restaurants, and the staff gave wonderful service. We loved the pool, facilities, and amenities, along with the beautiful lobby. Everything had a modern feel. Our room was clean, beautifully designed, and had comfortable, spacious beds. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped too, and the huge windows gave us great views. Wish we could've stayed longer.

The gym was good and breakfast decent, but the bedroom and bathroom still need work. The sauna wasn't properly maintained, and seeing a cockroach in there was concerning. The hotel also needs to improve its cleanliness, maintenance, management, and staff professionalism.

The outdoor swimming pool was beautiful and amazing. My mom, sisters, and I spent a few days here on our first visit to Myanmar. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant inside the hotel was very good.
