Hotel Prestige

A staff member helped me arrange transport to the capital, and the room with its bathroom was very nice. Finding the place can be tricky after dark because the map doesn’t seem very accurate. It felt a bit expensive for what you get, though those are the prices around this city.

After taking the train, we were glad to return here for another night. We’d arrived in Nouadhibou on two motorcycles and needed somewhere to leave them while we traveled. It was a little hard to communicate with the guy behind the shelter and security, but both were really helpful and let us keep the bikes in the garage for two nights. A great experience!

We arrived exhausted and covered in dust after the Iron Train, but the receptionist and owner greeted my friend and me with big smiles and made us comfortable right away. They even helped us find some great local food to get our energy back. Their kindness made our stop in Nouadhibou a warm memory. Prestige Hostel is clean, well located, and has a great atmosphere. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to travelers looking for comfort and kind people.

The internet was stable at around 15 Mbps, and there are a few good restaurants just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, and my room was huge and clean. The water pressure in my shower left a bit to be desired.
