We stayed here at the start and again at the end of our trip, four nights altogether, with my husband and three friends. We all loved it. First we had a bungalow, and later the family room. Both were nice and came with mosquito nets. There are lots of shaded outdoor spots to sit and get out of the midday heat. We had many meals here because the food was amazing and the menu had plenty of variety, including vegetarian and meat choices, plus juices, smoothies, tea, and coffee. Try the zucchini beignets. The hostel was clean and welcoming, and the owner and staff were friendly. We also met some cool locals and travelers at Triskell, so if you’re travelling alone, you’ll probably make friends. We were there at the end of January and in mid February. Highly recommend!

A great stop during my motorcycle route through Mauritania. Sebastian was a big help, and there’s a good atmosphere with other overlanders. The food and drinks are good too. There’s a market nearby, as well as a place to wash your bike.

A peaceful oasis in Noukchott and really good value for money. It’s also a great starting point for a trip around Mauritania, since Sebastian is incredibly helpful.

A friendly guy named Sébastien runs this place and is very helpful. He can arrange an airport taxi, and it’s a good spot to meet people or stay for a night or two.
