This old but modernised townhouse has a lovely kitchen and sitting area, plus a sleek modern bathroom. A beautiful staircase takes you up to the bedroom with its balcony. It’s right beside Fort St.Angelo in the heart of old town Birgu, with the ferry to Valletta just three minutes away on foot. The ride costs 2 euro per person. The lovely old market square with its restaurants is also a three-minute walk.

From the window you can see the sea, and there are swimming spots nearby. The apartment is in an authentic Maltese house with a pleasant interior and a convenient location. It has all the necessary appliances, including a washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans. The fort and harbor are close by, and the town itself is beautiful, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

The historic setting and pleasant neighborhood made a nice impression, and the host was very nice. Ferry and bus connections are good. An Uber taxi to the airport cost €10.
