The apartment was much larger than we expected for our weekend booking for four through booking.com. The listing showed a double bed and a sofa bed, but there were also two single beds. It was well equipped, with a good kitchen, toilets, and a washing machine. We had bar soap, towels, five small bottles of 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash, dish soap and a sponge, plenty of dishes and cookware, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and other bits. There was one laundry pod, perhaps because we stayed only two nights, plus a dishwasher with three tablets. There were balcony clotheslines and a foldable drying rack, a closet full of extra blankets and duvets, and a hairdryer and iron, though we didn’t try the iron. We also found free wine and discount vouchers for the aquarium, a nearby restaurant, and other things. Bring your own conditioner, slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste. We expected much less and were very satisfied with what was provided. The location is very good, right by the coast and with strong bus connections, especially to the Comino and Gozo ferries. Customer service was quick and cordial when I asked for an invoice and extra details for a claim. A few downsides: the wall-mounted hairdryer didn’t seem to work for us, though maybe we couldn’t figure it out. Only one balcony had a sea view, and it was just a small patch down a street. I think both balconies might have a sea view on the third floor or above, but we were on the second and the other view was blocked. The sofa bed takes a little effort to set up, though it works well once ready. Check-in and the roughly €150 deposit are handled through the property’s own website, separately from booking.com. It’s a bit inconvenient, but doesn’t take long.

I especially appreciated how clean the apartment was, the cleaning supplies, and the welcome wine. The team was also in touch during our stay and helped with anything, like arranging attractions. It’s a very nice place. I might have liked a few more laundry and dishwasher tablets and some ground coffee, but that’s just my preference.
We’ve stayed in Malta many times, and Sea Bliss has been our best apartment so far. The owner was extremely helpful both while booking and during the stay, keeping in touch by WhatsApp and email and providing a 24-hour mobile help number. They can also arrange private transfers, and there’s a secure luggage room for departure. The apartment is secure, restful, fully equipped, and close to local facilities. The owner’s helpful https://getawaysmalta.com website describes the penthouse well, but in our opinion the apartment is even better. The views and balconies are a real treat. The shaded front balcony looks towards St Paul’s Island, with Gozo and the headland and Chapel of the Immaculate Conception in the distance, a favourite spot of my wife. The large rear balcony is good for sunbathing and looks towards Mellieha; while we were there, we could see fantastic fireworks for Victory Day. A breeze through the apartment kept it pleasant and meant we used the air conditioners very little. The location gives you those views as well as easy access to local restaurants, efficient public buses with a 7-day pass, and a SPAR supermarket just three minutes away on foot. There are also lots of USB charging ports on the power sockets. Malta and Gozo have plenty to offer tourists, and Sea Bliss is a wonderful base for exploring the islands. We’ll certainly return. The main balcony has an idyllic view of blue sky and sea, and there’s a second, smaller one off the main bedroom. The apartment is on the sixth floor, with a lift, and the washing machine is on one of the balconies. Inside, there’s a large, very comfy sofa and a TV with streaming apps. The kitchen is fabulously equipped, including a full-size cooker, dishwasher, and a range of utensils. There are two very comfortable bedrooms. One is classed as a sleeping area because you pass through it to reach the main bedroom, but honestly, it just feels like two bedrooms. A shop open until midnight is a two-minute walk away, and a 24-hour Spar is just over five minutes away. The square is under ten minutes on foot. St Paul's is bustling with shops, great restaurants, and lots of cocktail hours. Sea Bliss explained everything clearly and replied quickly to any questions. Ruth is lovely, and I’m very pleased to now call her my friend. What a fabulous apartment. ❤️
We had a brilliant stay in this beautiful, spotlessly clean apartment. It’s ideally located for shops, bars, and more. 👍👍
