Sea Breeze Bay Guest House

The staff were lovely and did a great job, but the rest was disappointing. The room had a constant drip from the toilet in the bathroom, loud enough to hear all night while trying to sleep. There was a TV but no remote. The hotel advertises a games room, fitness centre, and massage services, but none of those are actually available. The restaurant only opens for breakfast. It’s OK if you just need somewhere to sleep, but that’s about all.

The rooms are in rough shape: visible mold in several bathroom spots, hot water that lasts only 10-15 minutes, and worn-out mattresses and pillows. Breakfast is just fine. Still, the prices are low, the location is good, and staff are friendly and speak English well. For what it costs, the value is amazing.

The hotel is dated, though they were painting while we were there, so updates seem to be happening. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly, and breakfast was good. For the price, it’s good value.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast each morning was lovely. The pool was VERY cold, though, in the very British sense of “it’s lovely once you’re in!” The hot water struggled later in the day, so I often got a cool shower. To be fair, I didn’t complain because of the heat. It’s quite worn and dated. The mattresses weren’t the comfiest and the pillows need replacing. Fine if you just need somewhere to sleep, but if you want high standards, look elsewhere. I’d recommend Bolt car service, much cheaper than UK taxis.
