It’s easy to get around from here, with bus stops close by and convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops throughout the neighborhood. There’s also a nearby laundry service at a good price, 12 euros for washing and drying. We could leave our bags after checkout or drop them off before check-in, which was handy. The accommodation was clean, with fresh towels daily, and the shower had strong pressure. The beds were comfortable after long days exploring the islands, and our room had two balconies. The receptionist was friendly and made check-in easy. We recommend staying here. They’ve clearly improved things, so don’t let the old reviews put you off ☺️

The room had mold, and room service didn’t come every day. The host was disrespectful and couldn’t communicate respectfully. I absolutely DO NOT recommend staying here if you want to enjoy Malta.

The room was very nice, but the bathroom let me down a bit. The sink is so small that washing my hands or face splashed water all over the mirror and floor.

There was dust and grime in every corner, and the bathroom had mold that smelled awful and seemed like a serious health hazard. Cleanliness was abysmal, and it was clear the host hadn’t taken the necessary steps to make the place clean and comfortable. Cockroaches, both large and small, were scurrying over the floors as soon as I entered Vela Blu Boutique Suites accommodation. It was revolting and set the tone for the whole stay. Cleanliness matters a lot in accommodation, and this place failed badly. I wouldn’t recommend it. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere that prioritizes hygiene. One of my worst experiences with a host and accommodation.

I came from the Czech Republic with a friend to Malta, and this was my worst apartment stay ever. We found cockroaches, dirty towels, mold on the bathroom walls, and a TV that didn’t work. We had to leave and find another place. Please be careful, I don’t recommend it.
