The pictures match what you find there, and the yard is simply beautiful. We couldn't find a restaurant nearby on Sunday evening, but the supermarket, Lidl, was open. We grabbed a table in the yard, where there are plenty for all the apartments, and enjoyed our last evening in Malta. One thing to know, the church next door rings every 15 minutes, which can be annoying at night.

Really nice place in a good spot close to the airport. Just a suggestion, let guests know if there's a celebration in town, since it can keep them from getting a good night's rest.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. The church bells right next door ring every 15 minutes all through the night. We only stayed one night, thankfully, and had made the mistake of not reading the reviews carefully before booking. We had earplugs, but could still hear the bells because the tower is so close and faces the room. The windows are very old and thin, with no soundproofing, and some panes are completely missing. If I owned this airbnb, I'd try to soundproof them, even if it was expensive, and at least make sure no glass was missing. The hall also smells like sewage. The room itself is cute, but that doesn't make up for being unable to sleep all night before a flight.

Staying in this cozy hotel inside the old, beautiful walls was a pleasure. It has its own courtyard, a living room, and rooftop terraces, which made it feel special and historical, just as I'd always hoped a hotel in a country I visited would. Being close to the airport is convenient too. I recommend it!!!

The establishment is magnificent, which makes it such a shame that we couldn't sleep. Our room faced the street, across from the basilica, and its bells ring every 15 minutes. With only single-glazed windows, the noise was really bad.
