Seaside Cosy Maisonette- 2 mins from sea

In June, 2022, we stayed in this flat and had a very poor experience. The towels smelled so bad we had to use our own. The sofa was dirty, with a fleece-covered sheet, and the bed linen was fleece, which was uncomfortable in the summer heat. The decor felt tacky, with candles and artificial plants everywhere. The kitchen was extremely cramped, barely enough room for two people, and it had no microwave, blender or small frying pan. The AC didn’t work properly, and the nights were warm. After we contacted the landlord, he did bring two fans to make up for the faulty AC, though it took a while. We came from Denmark, where the plugs are different from Malta’s, but the landlord had provided just one adapter. When we raised this, he said we should buy more ourselves, and we spent over 10 euro on extra adapters. After travelling all over the world, this was the tackiest flat we’ve stayed in.
