The food was a highlight, with different choices each evening, from duck and steak to chicken, pork chops and fresh fish. We found plenty worth having seconds of, plus lots of desserts, including a Pistachio cake that was a heart attack on a plate, but worth it. Breakfast had English and Continental options, fruit and plenty of juice. Everyone we met was lovely, from the young man and woman at reception to the bar and dining room staff, and the brilliant, persistent cleaning lady. Our room was clean and well stocked, and staff brought anything extra when I asked. The resort was clean each day and there was loads of parking. We’d just come back to the UK after a week at Paradise Bay Resort. The sea view was beautiful, from the storm on our first night to the brightest blue on the last day. The salt-water indoor pool was great and mostly peaceful. What a lovely hotel. We’re looking to book again and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

There’s free parking for hotel guests, and the setting is convenient for catching the ferry to Gozo or Comino, an easy walk away. The hotel has two outdoor pools and one indoors, along with great sea views.

The room itself was fine, but I found the staff unfriendly. I stayed for two nights and got just one bottle of water. When I asked for another, I was told I’d still only get one even if I stayed 10 nights 🤣. There’s no other water source in the hotel, so outside meals you have to buy a 500 ml bottle from the kiosk machine for 2 EURO. That’s absurd. The restaurant is highly expensive.

The rooms were okay for sleeping, but several things were broken, including the safe and the shower head holder. The food was mediocre and the same every day. There’s no beach access, and there’s no potable water in the rooms. Outside of meal times, the only way to get water was to buy it from the hotel store, even after I raised the issue with the front desk. I was here for a conference, but the hotel is very isolated from the rest of Malta, and the nearest town is a 15 minute bus ride away. I won’t stay here again and will probably avoid this conference because of the experience.

The place felt strange to us. Hardly any guests mixed or talked, and although we met a couple of people, most kept to themselves. We stayed 4 nights and I regretted choosing it. After 5 weeks travelling around Europe and changing hotels every 1 or 2 nights, this was definitely our least favourite. We went to Popeye Village and spent a nice day at Paradise Bay to get away. The room was big, with a balcony looking over the pool and ocean, though the decor was old. Check-in was after 3 pm for us, and they kept saying the room wasn’t ready. Guest Services kindly bought us a drink while we waited. Breakfast came with our rate and was good. Porto Restaurant across the street was satisfactory for dinner, with good service. We were glad to have somewhere nearby to eat. The bar drink prices seemed average, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Gozo and Comino ferries. I wouldn’t stay here again.
