There are good restaurants nearby, and the apartment had all the amenities we needed. We stayed four nights in the first-floor apartment and enjoyed the great views. Construction was happening in the adjacent building, but luckily there wasn’t much noise. The Wi-Fi was fine for personal calls, though not good enough for work calls.

The flat is huge, exceptionally clean, and very quiet on a side street, yet just a few minutes downhill from Xlendi’s restaurants. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We appreciated the excellent guidebook for the area and beyond, the provided bottle of wine, and the beach towels when we asked for them. The hostess was very kind, especially after we accidentally left our keys inside on the first night. There’s also a nice little balcony with very good views, though the concrete siding on the left is ugly. The Wi-Fi was awful, especially in the bedroom on the left, so we relied on phone data the whole time. Definitely not a place to work remotely. The building work is shoddy: the screen door was troublesome to open when we arrived, then came off its sliding hinge soon after, and the balcony glass door is really hard to open. The kitchen light was broken, and there was no hand or dish towel.

The view was to die for, and we loved spending mornings on the sun deck above. It was quiet, the rooms were spacious, clean, fresh-smelling, and had everything we needed. The large bathroom had both a shower and bathtub. I’m only sad our holiday wasn’t longer. Gozo is well connected to the rest of the island by bus, and the stop is just minutes from the flat. Waw, everything was great here :)
