Ta Paolo

We arrived after midnight on our first day, and the owners still made us feel very welcome. They even offered to cook us dinner if we were hungry, despite the late hour. It was really hot when we got there, so I appreciated that they’d prepared cold water for us. We’re so glad we booked this place and had a lovely stay. Thank you!

This worked well as a base for diving in Gozo, and the bed and pillows were soft and clean. The air conditioning was there, and Qala town center, bus stops, restaurants, a pharmacy and supermarkets were all easy to reach. The only downside was low shower pressure, which made it a little cold in winter, though it was tolerable. All in all, a good stay.

It was hard to leave this lovely home. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The square, with its bars and restaurants, is just a short walk away, and buses at the end of the street make it easy to explore the island. Renee and Paulo were a pleasure to meet and chat with. They’re kind, helpful hosts who made us feel at home and made our holiday extra special. There’s everything you could need, including a swimming pool, large roof terrace, balconies, air conditioning, a pool room, and a very cute little dog called Wendy.

Disaster. The room was very small, and the paint was bad. The toilet was on the balcony, and there were no plugs in the room to charge my phone.
