For the price, the inconveniences felt manageable. The bathroom was shared and could have been cleaned more often, and we would have appreciated fresh towels and bed linen during our stay. The quilt had no cover, either. Our room was spacious and cosy, with a balcony overlooking the coast and fairly new air conditioning, but no bathroom of its own. The location was excellent: close to the bay, Las Palmas, and a bus stop with routes towards Buggiba, Cirkewwa for the ferry, and Valletta. The Residence is modest, though guests can use the washing machine, iron, cooker and full kitchen. It was easy to contact the owner by WhatsApp. The hostel arranged an airport transfer and sent advice before we arrived. You can also take the X1 bus straight to the hotel. If you're particular about bathroom cleanliness, this may not be the place for you.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a really nice stay. The area is quiet, with a restaurant right beside the residence. The sea is a two-minute walk away and public transport is about a minute away. Recommended.

The room was spacious, with a kettle and microwave in the kitchen, and the sea is only about 250 metres away. The bus stop is right outside the house, though bus times can be unpredictable; the Tallinja app helps with that. There was a cockroach in our room, and the room itself had no window. The bathroom did have one, but it wouldn't close. Reception is outside the building and reachable by phone at any time. We never met the staff, but that didn't cause us any problems.
