BaronHolidays gave us good, professional service, and the house itself is quiet, with great views and a nice pool area. Nadur city centre is about a 15 minute walk away, and parking on the street was easy. I’m giving it 4/5 because it needs some investment to keep it in good shape. The mattresses need replacing, and the dishwasher is rusty inside and very inefficient. It also needs basics such as cooking oil, along with enough cutlery and glasses. Offering a charcoal BBQ without charcoal didn’t make sense to me, though luckily shops in Nadur sell self-igniting briquettes.

The property has superb views from all three levels, with a very large sun terrace on the top floor. It’s quiet, within easy walking distance of Nadur centre, and there are lovely beaches and excellent restaurants a short distance away. The accommodation had everything we needed. There are lots of steps around the property, and the pool gets deep very quickly after the shallow end, which could be a hazard for small children. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful holiday in Gozo, one of our favourite places, with friendly people, glorious weather, and breathtaking scenery. Ta Rena was a fantastic farmhouse with loads of indoor and outdoor space, plus a small pool that was perfect for cooling off. The roof terrace had amazing views across the island. It had everything we needed for a home-from-home holiday. The village square, with its bars and restaurants serving a varied range of food and drinks, was about a 10 minute walk. There’s also a great local bakery around the corner selling fresh bread and pizza, well worth visiting. We booked through Julesgozo Holidays, would recommend them, and plan to visit Gozo again soon.

The home is very nice, has three levels, and sleeps six, though the master bed was quite uncomfortable. Check-in was easy, and it’s close to convenient bus routes. Gozo is a must on a Malta trip. Tap water isn’t drinkable, so you have to buy water separately, and air conditioning and heat cost extra. WiFi went on and off, but mostly got the job done. We had to call the property manager about a few issues, including no hot water and a power outage the next day. They responded and fixed them.

The villa and location were wonderful, and everything was just right. Tracey handled one small issue quickly and efficiently. I’d thoroughly recommend it as a base for exploring Gozo.
