Best Western Premier Malta

As a solo traveller, I felt welcome from the moment I arrived for my seven-night stay. The room was lovely, with a big comfortable bed, and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast had a great range of choices. I enjoyed the sauna and whirlpool, and there's a gym too if that's your thing. The rooftop pool is a nice place to relax, with fantastic views. I'll be back.

The hotel was clean and very modern in 2024, with plenty of free parking nearby if you have a car. The staff were wonderful, and the bar served good food and drinks at reasonable prices. The spa was lovely, and the shallow pool was good. The rooftop pool was closed because of storm damage, though it looked brilliant. The surrounding area felt a wee bit rundown, but a lot of regeneration work was underway, so that might change in a year or two.

I arrived well before the 3pm check-in, but reception took my number and called as soon as the room was ready. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and the complimentary minibar was a nice touch. I also used the spa for free. The rooftop bar was closed because of high winds, though I got up there on my last day and the views were stunning. The hotel was spotless, the staff excellent, and breakfast superb with a big selection for everyone. I just got back from three nights and would go straight back. Thanks, BWP, for a lovely stay.

I felt safe staying here on my own, and would absolutely return. The rooms are spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and there are some great facilities. I used the spa's steam room, sauna, and hydrotherapy bath at no charge; massages and other treatments cost extra. There's also a workout room and luggage storage for early arrivals. You need a key for the luggage room, but other guests storing bags can access it too. The rooftop pool and bar offer a beautiful view of Malta.
