Casa Azzopardi Suites

The balcony view was really cool, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. My friend and I stayed for a week and had a great time. It was our first international trip, and Johnny was very helpful and accommodating, especially with suggestions for things to do around town. We'll definitely come back when we're in Malta again.

We stayed in the suite ‘Nana Grezz’ for a week in March. Breakfast is available at the bar next door, and we highly recommend it. The host, Johnny, was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped, with a small kitchen, in one of three suites in a very central old townhouse in Rabat, about a 10-minute walk from Mdina. We had a little balcony where we could watch the lively street below. The single-pane windows also let in quite a lot of noise, from religious festivities, garbage vehicles, motorcycles, and people out partying. We accepted that as part of the experience.

The restored house has lots of Maltese character and is kept spotless. Our room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Cold water was waiting in the fridge when we arrived, and the greeting from the host Johnny was both genuine and professional. The jacuzzi made the visit extra special. The location is ideal, just minutes on foot from historic sites in Rabat and Mdina, and you can see Mdina Cathedral from the huge terrace. Restaurants are also only minutes away, with some directly below and opposite. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guesthouse.

The cafe next door serves a really delicious breakfast, and the host was lovely. Rooms are spacious and very clean, and you can get around on foot in just a few minutes from this perfect location. I'll definitely come again 😊
