The house is immaculate, and while there are stairs, after the first day we barely noticed them. Pierre was an exceptional host, nothing was a problem. Rabat itself is beautiful and deserves a proper look around, and the bus station just around the corner makes it a great base for getting across the island. Eating out is classy but affordable. Back at the house, the two bedrooms were both stunning, and the living room and kitchen opened onto a beautiful terrace with incredible views from north to south. There’s a washing machine, tumble dryer and all the kitchen appliances. Pierre is right there, within Mdina’s walls, just a few minutes away on foot. My husband and I stayed in the heat of September, and we’ll be back soon, dear friend xxx

There’s a kitchen and a rooftop terrace, and the location and service are great. Air conditioning costs extra, but one euro seems to keep it running for quite a while, so I thought it was worth it.
