We loved our stay because we knew what we were choosing. This charming old house sits on a lovely traditional street in Rabat, right opposite Mdina, with restaurants and parking close by. The owner was quick to respond when anything came up, especially after a little storm overnight. Wind does make the house noisy, and there’s humidity and plenty of stairs. It’s not a good fit for anyone with limited mobility, big suitcases, or who struggles with stairs or dampness, so it’s best to keep those things in mind. For us, the character and location made it worth it.

Right in the historic heart of Rabat, this place feels genuinely distinctive. Everything worked, and it was very clean. It costs a bit more, but I can see why.
