Bernadette, Joseph and Alexander made us feel like part of their family from the start. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and their cooking and baking were exceptional. We shared some lovely dinners and cocktails with them, with plenty of laughter and a great sense of humor. Thank you, Ben, Joe and Alex, for such kind hospitality. This will definitely be our place to stay on future trips to Malta. Villa Vittoria is a gem in the heart of Rabat. We could walk to historic sites, museums, Mdina, restaurants, little shops and the bus station. The villa itself feels like a museum. It was very clean and spacious, and we had a wonderful view to wake up to each morning.

Bernadette was so nice and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The old stone building was a pleasant surprise. It’s a good fit if you’re after that traditional kind of place, rather than a luxury hotel. Breakfast was very good too.

I’ve already arranged to return to Malta in November, and Villa Vittoria is part of the plan. It will be my third visit in a short time: my last trip to see Maltese friends was only four months ago. Ben and Joseph welcomed me warmly to their home again, and I was impressed to hear about and see the improvements they’d made to one of the guest rooms. They make holiday guests feel welcome through both their friendliness and the quality of their facilities. I know I’ll be met with the same wonderful hospitality when I come back. J.Annuss

Our hostess made us feel very welcome and put us in a lovely old bedroom. My husband and I had another splendid long weekend here, mixing sightseeing with time to relax. The location is awesome: we visited Rabat, Mdina and Buskett, and even caught the sunset at Dingli. I’d definitely recommend this cute boutique hotel for a romantic getaway that feels a little different.

A small shop just a few doors away covered our daily needs, and there are lots of places to eat well around Rabat and Mdina. The apartments are only a couple of minutes on foot from Rabat centre, the bus terminus and the beautiful city of Mdina. Ours was perfect for us, with an enormous bed, a seven head walk in shower, a well equipped kitchen and a comfy couch. The building and town are beautiful too. Next door, the hosts’ bistro and wine bar, toffee and co, serves amazing local food and incredible homemade cakes. If you want a central spot on the island with good transport links and great comfort at a very reasonable price, Villa Vitoria is ideal.
