Corinthia St George's Bay

The hotel gave us a welcome drink when we arrived, and someone kindly carried our bags to the room. We got there at 10 and were told they’d call when our room was ready. We changed in the spa, but the floor was soaking wet, and having to open our cases there was a pain. No one called, so we went back to reception at 4:30pm and found the room was ready. I was asked to leave breakfast and change because my dress was supposedly see-through. After I changed and returned, I saw several guests in much more revealing outfits, so I’m not sure why I was singled out. I attached a picture of what I wore. I also didn’t like that smoking was allowed around the pool. The facilities are beautiful, while the rooms are more dated, though everything was clean. This place is better for a relaxed, quiet stay. There wasn’t much happening at the hotel or nearby, so I wouldn’t bring my family here. Our group of six used Bolt and Uber to get to Valetta and St Julians. Overall, it was a nice hotel, and I’d recommend it to people over 50 or anyone who likes a quiet life.

Breakfast was a great way to begin each day, with a fantastic range of fresh, high-quality choices for every taste, and a glass of Mimosa. The hotel’s location also made getting around easy, with places of interest nearby and buses readily accessible. Saikiran gave us useful restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions. We stayed six nights at the Corinthia Hotel Malta, and the décor throughout was stunning, sophisticated yet welcoming, with every space feeling thoughtfully designed. Our room was lovely, with breathtaking views over the pools and sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Waking up to that view was a highlight. Staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Special thanks to Ronald, Malik, Jean and Onmaima at the front desk. They arranged a surprise for my friend's 50th birthday, with balloons and sparkling wine in our room. We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The Corinthia delivered a true five-star experience, and we’ll absolutely return. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Malta.

My husband surprised me with a birthday trip to the Corinthia St George's Bay, and the team made it so special. Oumaima welcomed us with real warmth and was incredibly kind. She wrote out a great list of places we should visit, and her care, professionalism, and passion for her work really stood out. Daniel and Ronaldo were also amazing and helped make the stay delightful. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Rachel went out of her way to share helpful tips for the area and the island, and all the staff were welcoming, warm, and ready to help. The hotel was great value, and despite the worst storm in Maltese history, we had a very enjoyable stay. It’s close to St Julian’s and easy to reach Valetta. The building is a bit older than some nearby hotels, but it’s bright and spacious, with great amenities and a good selection of local restaurants around.
