Hotel Scirocco St. Julian's, Affiliated by Meliá

The front desk service was the best part of our stay. Diana was polite, attentive, and always made sure we had what we needed. We felt truly well looked after, and we’re very grateful to her for making the trip so wonderful. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️ The hotel is excellent, in a great location, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, too.

My husband’s birthday fell during our trip, and the surprise waiting in our room that evening was so thoughtful. There was a handwritten note, a towel folded like a birthday cake with a candle in the middle of the bed, and a little chocolate cake. On our early checkout day, they also gave us a packed breakfast with a sandwich, croissant, and fruit yogurt, which we really appreciated. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the pool was a relaxing bonus after exploring. Restaurants, shops, and the beautiful coastline were all within walking distance, and the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The personal touches and attention to detail made this stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Scirocco Hotel and can’t wait to come back.

Four valuable personal items were stolen from my room, number 62, during my short stay at this hotel by Meliá from 26-29 July. The total loss was more than €1,600. The manager initially emailed me and said steps had been taken, including checking the cameras, but I still haven’t received a clear outcome or resolution. I can only give this hotel 1 star. This was deeply disappointing and not something anyone should have to deal with on vacation, especially at a hotel of this level.

The staff were wonderful, with great local knowledge and helpful advice. They also answered our questions and helped us figure out how to travel around Malta. The location is handy, with bus stops, bars, and restaurants close by. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean, with useful things like a safe, TV, hair dryer, and kettle. We asked for an iron, and it was already in the room with an ironing board when we arrived. Breakfast was good, and drinks were available around the clock as part of the stay.
