Vegas Resort

The location made it easy to get around Malta, and the room stayed spotless and well cared for. Everyone on staff was so friendly and ready to help that I felt welcome right from the start. I had a fantastic stay at Vegas Hotel and would happily choose it again. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

The pool is amazing, and hotel guests can use it for free. Reception is really informative, and room service is great. You can use the electronic buttons to postpone the daily cleaning. The downside is that the door slams so loudly it can wake you several times in the early morning.

We found the hotel comfortable and pleasant, with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The rooms themselves and the atmosphere were good. The information we received about the €100 deposit, though, was confusing. Since we had paid in advance, I called beforehand and was told we could pay in cash and get it back at checkout, or use a card and wait a few days for the refund. We planned to pay cash, but at check-in staff said cash wasn’t accepted and we had to use a card. A few days later, we overheard a receptionist telling other guests they could pay cash. I don’t know where the mix-up happened, but guests should get consistent information. That evening, the smart TV showed a message saying the router needed a restart. Reception said there was no IT staff available and nothing could be done until the next day, so it stayed unresolved that night. The hotel is good and comfortable, but we felt staff could use more training in handling concerns and giving consistent answers.

Friendly staff and an excellent location. The rooms and bed were comfortable, and having an empty fridge was handy. There’s no tea or coffee in the room, and the hallways were pretty noisy with doors clanging. Calling it a resort is a bit of a stretch.
