Oliver was a really helpful, accommodating host. He gave me water and lots of information about the area, and let me check out late to fit my schedule. As a woman traveling alone, I felt the price and security were right. The beaches and restaurants are nearby, and Buġibba is walkable. The AC was great!

The room had a lovely balcony, and there was a shared terrace too. The residence mixed modern interiors with traditional décor nicely, and the beach was just a short walk away. We also found plenty of free street parking nearby. Oliver made the stay from start to finish. Before we arrived, he sent detailed travel information, local tips, and suggestions for places to see in Malta. On our first morning he gave all the guests a free walking tour, pointing out beaches, restaurants, and hidden gems. He was available day or night for questions, and left a complimentary bottle of water each day. There was no microwave, but he offered to heat our restaurant leftovers in a pan and brought them back with cutlery and napkins. His warmth and attention made our visit unforgettable. We highly recommend The 1930’s Maltese Residence.

Oliver is an especially caring, welcoming host, always available if you need advice on a tour or somewhere to visit. The place is clean, cozy, and handy for the bus stop, with the harbour not far away. Definitely recommend!
