That bed was amazingly comfortable, and the bathroom and air conditioning were good too. We had limited room for clothes, but managed. Room 903 was compact and comfortable, and I liked having both keypad and keycard access. One odd thing: the keycard has to stay in its slot, or the fridge defrosts. We only realized after the first day, when it was warm and full of water, though luckily we hadn’t put anything in it yet. The location was great, just steps from the Sliema seafront on a fairly quiet side street. The property is small, so we didn’t hear noise from neighboring rooms. The rooftop pool is tiny, more of a splash pool, with only a few metal chairs and tables and little space to lounge, but the view is amazing. We stayed in early July and had a great few days.

The rooftop terrace is fantastic, and the location worked well too. You can walk into town quickly, and buses make it easy to get around elsewhere. Everyone we met was friendly. There are a few practical issues, especially if you’re staying longer. Our room had no cupboards, and breakfast wasn’t really worth recommending. These things aren’t the biggest problem for a short visit, or if you’re mostly sleeping here before heading on, but for my two-week stay they were pretty inconvenient. It’s a cool hotel, just not without its shortcomings.

A handy spot for a weekend away, with a big shopping centre close by and lots of bars and restaurants around. The ferry to Valletta is about a 10-minute walk, and you’re near the seafront in Sliema. The room was small, clean, and modern, with a fridge, microwave, and nice bathroom products. It had what we needed and was reasonably priced. Reception wasn’t always open, but checking in through WhatsApp was easy thanks to the good communication.

I gave the hotel another try this week, but had to cancel less than five minutes after booking because I’d selected the wrong date. They refused to cancel and kept the money. I won’t stay here again. When I stayed in December 2024, the shower pressure was unreliable, the rooms were very small and not particularly clean, and there was often nobody at the desk.
