We had a great time here, and the owner was kind and helpful. The area was quiet and excellent for getting around, with a supermarket nearby. The apartment's entry and interior looked appealing and had a luxurious feel. A code opened both the building's main door and the apartment, which was very convenient since we didn't need to carry keys. The front door didn't open all the way, and there was a hard-to-see step. The bus stop is right outside, and it's a short trip to St Julian's or the Sliema ferry port, where we caught a boat to Comino. In the room, there were two Maltese balconies, a washing machine, microwave, bathtub and bidet. The coffee pod machine by the entrance was handy in the morning, although capsules weren't always there. European sockets by the bed meant we didn't need an adapter there, but we used the ones we'd brought elsewhere. Some problems only stood out after we settled in: stains on the curtains and walls, damaged spots in the parquet, a broken leg on the stool by the mirror, a wobbly bedside lamp, and holes in the sheets. The washing machine and floor were a bit dirty. The bathroom soap was very diluted, so we bought our own. There were two dispensers, body lotion and a shaving set, but shampoo and bubble bath would've been nice. The bathroom door didn't latch properly and sometimes swung open. The light curtains didn't block the morning brightness, and they didn't close all the way on the bed side. The owner quickly sent her assistant to fix that curtain issue. The Maltese-style windows also had problems. Only the left balcony windows opened fully; the right ones were broken, and just one of the four windows worked. We let the owner know. Other things included a clothes horse, air conditioning, a fridge that sometimes made an annoying noise at night, a large freezer, a modern hob and a hairdryer that was broken but still usable. There was dish detergent, a sponge and a towel for drying dishes. The towels weren't changed during our stay, but we could wash them in the machine. The smart TV let us sign in to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. The tap water isn't drinkable.

The room had everything I needed and was clean and quiet. The staff were lovely and helped me with whatever I needed. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Can't even give it zero stars. I believe this hotel is running a scam to take customers' money. If you're thinking about staying here, I can't recommend strongly enough that you book somewhere else. The customer service was shocking and openly rude.

The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. I'd stay here again!
