Palazzo Valletta Suites

The host and owner made us feel right at home. The rooms and setting had wonderful history and elegance, and fresh homemade breakfast in the grand room made each guest feel special. Only a handful of guests stay at Palazzo Suites at a time. We'll certainly return to Malta, and we'll stay here again.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely old, beautifully restored place, with a well-equipped suite and delicious, varied breakfasts each day. It's peaceful and quiet, an adult environment with quirky charm, and a great base for finding Valletta's hidden corners and main areas. We enjoyed it so much that we quickly booked another visit. Thanks to Franck, Jacob and all the staff for making it such an enjoyable stay. See you again soon! By the way, I was a little confused by some photos that don't seem to have anything to do with Palazzo Valletta Suites, and suspect the same might be true of some comments.

The spacious room had lovely original features, and I enjoyed the sun terrace and authentic shared sitting room, which gave me a chance to experience living in a Valletta Palazzo. The property is right in the centre of Valletta, and the host, staff and venue were amazing. Breakfast was amazing too. What more could I ask for? I'd definitely return!

Frank, the owner, welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. Mike, or Misha (short for Michael, Mikhail?), was very helpful. The English breakfast wasn't plentiful, but it was still very good, served by Mike rather than as a buffet. Service felt very personal and posh. We stayed four nights and were reluctant to leave, and would have liked to stay longer, but we were committed to a tour of Turkey. Frank came by on our last day to wish us a safe trip. It's a pity we had to leave early the next morning.
