That balcony is the highlight. You could spend the whole day looking out and taking in the one-of-a-kind views over the city and water. The apartment is right in the old town, very central but still quiet, and we were so glad to stay in this charming place. It's comfortable, with a cosy bed and sofa, plus basic kitchen appliances. The building is very old, and getting to the 3rd floor means climbing steep steps. The elevator wasn't working, which is something to expect with this type of property. We had no trouble communicating with the host on WhatsApp. A great stay, and we'll book again next time we're in Malta.

We had the top apartment, and the roof terrace views were stunning. It's a short 5 minute walk to the centre of town, making this a great base in Valletta. I can't recommend it enough. We'll be back 😀.

We got to apartment 1 yesterday, 15/06/2024, and it was disgustingly dirty. These aren't 'Delux' apartments. The pub next door is very noisy. You're better off staying just outside Valletta.

We booked what was advertised as a ground-floor apartment at VALLETA HASTINGS SUITES, but it turned out to be a basement. Part of the sitting room was below the street pavement, where an open grid let vermin into the apartment, including cockroaches, spiders and mosquitoes. There was also a serious mould and humidity problem. We had no option but to book somewhere else in Valleta, which cost three times as much. It ruined our trip.

Communication with the host was good. The accommodation is right in the heart of Valletta, in a nicely restored old Malta house, with modern, well-equipped interiors and a stunning 360 degree terrace.
