The location on the island worked well, and the villa is private, with a decent-sized pool in a courtyard. One neighboring property could look into that space, but it was empty during our stay. The house has a roomy downstairs kitchen, dining and living area, but it got far too hot for us. There’s no AC there, and fans didn’t help much. We spent time in the bedrooms instead, where the AC kept things cool. It was a shame the roof wasn’t accessible, as the views would have been excellent, I assume for health and safety reasons. The bedrooms are big and have ensuite showers, and there’s a bathroom downstairs with a washing machine. We hadn’t seen the microwave or washing machine mentioned in the details, so those could be added. There’s also an external staircase to the first floor that’s useful for luggage, while the main indoor stairs are a tight spiral. Keep food that isn’t in the fridge or freezer in airtight containers, or ants may get to it.
