The Old Mill is a beautiful, peaceful place, with restaurants about a five-minute drive away. Joachim and Bettina made us a delicious breakfast every morning and were among the kindest, most welcoming people we've ever met. They even picked us up at the ferry terminal when we arrived on Gozo. On a day we were out for hours, they lent us snorkelling gear and packed fruit in a cooler for us. My girlfriend and I loved staying here. Joachim and his wife Bettina were so accommodating, and the place had everything we wanted.

We found lovely walking routes right from The Old Mill, and the quiet surroundings made for a really peaceful stay. The room was superb, with so much care put into the details. Our hosts were happy to help with anything. Such comfortable, outstanding accommodation in Gozo. We loved our time here.

Our room was stylish, clean, and had a fantastic view of the open sea on the horizon. Water was replenished daily, and tea and coffee were provided. The pool was open and clean too. The hosts were welcoming and always available, with useful suggestions for restaurants and events. They arranged an airport transfer and rented us e-bikes at fair prices. When one got a flat tire on the road, they quickly repaired it. Breakfast was made fresh to our wishes, and there was always plenty of it. The atmosphere felt pleasant and family-like. The house is near a bus stop, and if the timetable doesn't work for you, Uber, Bolt, and e-Cab usually arrive with little wait. We didn't have anything to complain about. We'd read the accommodation description beforehand, as we always do, and knew what to expect. If it hadn't suited us, we'd have picked somewhere else.
