Pebbles Appartment

The apartment was large, clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The landlord was thoughtful and kind, and took good care of his guests. A few lightbulbs weren't working, but otherwise the apartment was great, with a beautiful view. It looks just like the pictures.

I booked the apartment in April, but nobody replied when I arrived. I'd emailed to say I was running two hours late and still got no answer. When I called from the property, I had to wait 30 minutes for a woman to show up. She gave me a different apartment from the one I'd booked, with just one bedroom and no sea view. It was on the top floor, up four flights of stairs with no elevator. The queen-size bed was old and uncomfortable, the TV didn't work, and the refrigerator was switched off. The place was extremely dirty, and the air conditioning was only in the bedroom. At checkout, they asked me to pay the difference, saying they'd cancelled the booking to avoid paying commissions. I've never had anything like this happen before. I strongly advise against staying here. There are better and cheaper places in Marsalforn.
