Coin de Mire Attitude

We had a beautifully decorated room with an ocean view and a bed that was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant's food was excellent, and the staff were attentive. We couldn't have picked a better place for a family stay.

Our room was peaceful and lovely, with an eye-catching Seaview. The food was absolutely delicious, and Porter Douglas worked hard and was very helpful with our bags. Security was adequate. The pool wasn't very spacious, though it was a nice place to relax. The main thing to improve is the staff: some need training to smile more and be easier for guests to approach. Overall, the stay at CDMA was okay 👍

The hotel is very close to the beach and provides SUPs, kayaks, and snorkeling gear. We ate well, with plenty of choices, including seafood, vegetarian dishes, and lots of meat. The staff were extremely friendly, and Aisha looked after our room and checked that we were happy with the cleaning. Beautiful hotel, highly recommend 👌

The security staff at the entrance were very friendly and accommodating, but our all-inclusive stay had several serious disappointments. After emailing reception several times and being assured airport pickup would be easy, with a driver holding a sign at the exit, we arrived to find nobody there. The hotel had failed to book the transport. After 16 hours in the air, that's a terrible welcome. Reception's response was that these things happen sometimes!!! We were there over Christmas and New Year, when it was very busy. The pool water wasn't clean, apparently because something was wrong with its purification and circulation. Staff didn't warn people swimming or turn off the poles to keep guests from getting sick. It was fixed after a couple of days. They put a lot of effort into the food and drinks at Christmas and Boxing Day, but restaurant food quality varied between those celebrations. At midnight on New Year's Eve, we couldn't get or buy a couple of glasses of sparkling wine for a toast, which I found very poor. Children were running around shouting and screaming in the bar and restaurant, with neither parents nor staff asking them to quiet down. The bar staff also seemed to lack knowledge about drinks and cocktails, which tasted very different depending on who made them. As several others have said, there's a lot of work needed to maintain their 3+ rating. I wouldn't recommend this place for a quiet, peaceful holiday or good service.
