Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

Our daily walks along the lagoon were one of my favourite parts of the week. The setting is beautiful, and the staff’s warm smiles and helpfulness made those walks and the rest of our stay feel even more welcoming. Manoj’s yoga was another highlight, a lovely, grounding part of the experience. There was so much to do: seven restaurants, several pools, snorkelling, a golf course, farm animals, and more. The beaches are exquisite, and the resort feels relaxed but lively, with everything so well maintained. A heartfelt thank you to Paulo, Veeren, Anmo, Mithum, Govind, Ashi, Manoj, Poonam, Amiella, Alice, Ravi, Rajeev, Clara, Sanjeev, and Dini. Their kindness, attention, and care made a real difference. We had a glorious week at Maritine Resort and can’t wait to return, hopefully for longer next time. It’s certainly worth its five stars.

The staff are what set Maritim Balaclava apart. Neha gave us the warmest hotel welcome we’ve ever had, and Kishen and Krishna (Porter) made sure our transportation needs were met. Krishna’s upbeat energy and attentiveness made us feel like family. At meals, Khimesh and Avinash checked on us, suggested drinks, and paid attention to the details. Nina at the bar was also lovely, with a warm smile, helpful recommendations, and excellent service. The hotel itself is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, great facilities, delicious food, and lots of activities. I discreetly took the staff members’ names from their badges because I wanted to recognize them. None of the people mentioned asked us for a review or rating. Thank you to the whole team for an exceptional stay. We highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

La Marée on the beach was a personal favourite among the many excellent restaurants we tried. Our all-inclusive package was fantastic, and Sam Marshall from World Leisure Holidays and Charlene Tiley from Tourvest Travel Services organized everything so professionally. They took such care with every detail, from our arrival in Mauritius to our very sad departure. We spent two memorable weeks at the Maritim Resort in May 2026 with eight family members, from 17 to 80 years old, and everyone loved it. Kavita, Krishen, Sarah, Paulo, Jeffry, Jay, Gopee, and so many others looked after us so attentively. Mithun deserves a special mention for going above and beyond for all of us. Thank you for making the holiday so wonderful. We already miss you and our beautiful Mauritius. It was a special family celebration, and we’re grateful for it. We can’t wait to return. We were celebrating a birthday, and the beautifully prepared room and warm welcome made it feel special from the start. The service was caring, attentive, and professional, while dinner was exquisite and the atmosphere felt both relaxing and luxurious. A memorable stay that exceeded our expectations.
