The Westin Mauritius Turtle Bay Resort and Spa

We visited in January 2026 with our four-month-old daughter, and the staff made everything easier for us. Sunita was particularly kind and helpful at breakfast each morning, while Avinash looked after us so well at Beach Grill. The whole hotel site was easy to get around with a buggy, and Jameel and the rest of the Westin staff made us feel welcome from the start. Our beachside room exceeded expectations, and the housekeeping team impressed us. The food and drinks were excellent at every restaurant, with just the right range of cuisines for a two-week stay. We especially enjoyed the pina coladas. The spa treatments were outstanding, and the facial was the best I’ve ever had. We also loved all the activities led by Luthfee. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The room was perfect, right by the beach, so waking up to the sound of the waves was wonderfully relaxing. We also loved the sunsets every evening. Food at Beach Grill, Kangan, Mystique, and Fusion was delightful, and the service made us feel special from the moment we arrived. A big thank you to Naseema, Karishma, Nadeem, Aartee, Kaushal, Raveena, Aki, Vimal, Rajeev, Ved, and Aditya. Sanjeeva and Vikash deserve a special thank you for making sure we were so well looked after. We visited Westin TB on the north of the island in February 2026 and loved every minute. We’re still here with five days left, and already talking about coming back later in the year. The Indian restaurant dinner last night was magnificent, thanks to the manager’s attention, and lunch at Beach Grill was just as good, with the manager taking such care of us. From the managers to the waiters, the service has been exceptional. Nothing seems too much trouble, and we really don’t want to leave. Many thanks to all the staff for making this holiday so lovely. It’s our 37th wedding anniversary while we’re here, and the staff have made us feel welcome and special from the start. Sheldon greeted us with a refreshing drink, and Ram, the head of food and beverage, helped us book the restaurants and themed evenings. The food has been excellent wherever we’ve eaten. Kaushal is friendly and helpful, and has gone out of his way to make our stay special. Roshan, who was our son’s butler on his honeymoon here six months ago, has been attentive to us too and even left a gift in our room. The room cleaners are kind and keep everything spotless. Kavish was especially caring. There’s always staff happy to see us and chat when we come down to eat, and everything feels calm and unhurried. Artee at Mystique is lovely, makes you feel like family, and looks after you during the meal. We were also lucky enough to see and swim with a green turtle while snorkeling in turtle bay by the hotel beach, an amazing experience and free, too. It’ll be hard to leave such a beautiful place and the lovely people we’ve met.
