Tamassa Bel Ombre

The team in the kitchen kindly made fresh purée for our baby when we asked, which made travelling with a little one much easier. We also loved the entertainment throughout the day and evening. The foam party team were especially talented and energetic, and knew how to keep everyone involved. Our room was in a perfect spot, and the food was excellent, with plenty of seafood and good quality at every meal. The only small inconvenience was that there weren’t waiters around the pool, so we had to get out and order at the bar. We had a wonderful time at Tamassa and would recommend it for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway.

The Beach Bar was fun, and the food at the Playa Resturant was absolutely excellent. At the main resturant, the themed food evenings offered plenty of choice for different tastes. We spent a lovely week at this beautiful resort. The beach was great, the sea was warm, and we saw lots of different fish. Our room was clean and everything worked. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. A particular thank you to Dawson at reception for all his help. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so wonderful and unforgettable.

We snorkelled together and enjoyed the shallow water, which was great for my 6-year-old daughter. The beach was gorgeous, with white sand and turquoise sea, and the sunsets were breathtaking. I stayed at Tamassa Bel Ombre as a solo parent, and we had a lovely time. The spacious room had a very comfortable bed, and housekeeping were attentive, friendly, and always smiling. Check-in was warm too. Thank you to Ayush and Isha for being so caring and professional. Walking into the lobby and seeing the pool and beach gave us an immediate wow moment. It really felt like arriving in paradise. My main disappointment was the food. In the hot, humid weather, I would have liked more grilled dishes and fresh salad choices. The main restaurant also lacked air conditioning, which made meals less comfortable and harder to enjoy. Still, it was a beautiful stay in a wonderful setting, especially for families with young children. Thank you!

The Mauritian evening was magical, especially with my birthday being celebrated there. I’ll never forget that night, and I’m grateful to everyone who organized it. The kindness of the staff made us feel like part of the Tamassa family, and we’d be very happy to return. My family and our whole group came for the Yoga-Pilates Camp from March 17-25, and our stay at the Tamassa Bel Ombre was unforgettable. The grounds were spacious and beautiful, with plenty to do or enjoy at a slower pace, from sports and entertainment to Jenga and chess. The food was delicious, and having two bottles of water brought to our room each day was a thoughtful touch. We received a warm welcome and excellent service, and the accommodation was comfortable. I especially enjoyed the therapies and pedicure. A special thank you to Jessica, and to Sid, the animation manager, whose creativity, attentiveness, and fun activities brought great energy to our stay.
